To help strengthen its online presence and showcase the salon experience and their academy beyond traditional advertising, Mt. Pleasant’s Water Works Salon partnered with Courtney Jerome Media to create a professional salon video marketing campaign focused on beauty, lifestyle, and brand storytelling.
This project combined cinematic salon videography, social media content creation, branding visuals, and lifestyle-focused storytelling to help the salon connect with both existing and prospective clients throughout the mid-Michigan region.
By capturing the energy, artistry, and atmosphere inside the salon and academy, the campaign was designed to elevate the Water Works Salon brand while creating engaging content optimized for websites, social media, and digital marketing.

Water Works Salon, located in Mt. Pleasant’s historic water building, opened in 2004, followed by their Academy in 2014. They offer a variety of hair services and cosmetic treatments to the mid Michigan region. Considered a green salon, Water Works prides themselves in recycling to reduce their carbon footprint, and proudly carries their own salon-developed product line which includes shampoo, conditioner, and an all-in-one fortifying spray.
